How to create and manage network shares on your QNAP NAS
Creating a network share:
1. Log in to your QNAP NAS administration interface.
2. Go to "Control Panel" and click on "Shared Folders" to access the shared folders settings.
3. Click on the "Create" button to add a new shared folder.
4. Specify the name and description of the shared folder.
5. Choose the folder path on your NAS where the shared folder will be created.
6. Select the desired access permissions for the shared folder, such as read-only or read-write access for different users or groups.
7. Optionally, enable advanced permissions settings, such as quota management or access control lists (ACLs).

Managing network shares:

4. To edit a shared folder, select it from the list and click on the "Edit" button.

7. In the permissions settings, you can add or remove users and groups, assign different access levels, and manage folder inheritance.
8. To delete a shared folder, simply select it from the list and click on the "Remove" button.
